Owner, Manager & Designated Safeguarding Lead
Alison
I have been working at Dinton Pre-school since 1990, I have a diploma in Montessori teaching, an ILM Level 5 certificate in management, a BA (hons) in childhood studies in 2015 and I am a Forest School Lead. My Pre-school is my passion, I have had the pleasure of supporting generations of children and their families over the years and it delights me to see so many children grow and develop into confident and independent little people, in the care of the dedicated staff in our homely and nurturing environment.

Assistant Manager, SENCo & Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead
Lucy
I have been working at Dinton Pre-school since 2010 and I also attended myself when I was a child so have actually spent nearly half of my life at the Pre-school! I hold a Level 3 qualification in children’s learning and development, a Diploma of Higher Education in earlychildhood as well as completing various special educational needs training courses, which helps me to support children and their families. I really value the importance of communication and language development in young children and love supporting children with this through play, interactions, songs and rhymes. When children grow and develop into confident communicators, during their time with us it feels very special to me!

I have been working at Dinton Pre-school since 2017 and hold an NVQ Level 3 qualification in early years care & education. I attended the Pre-school myself as a child as did all three of my own children. I thoroughly enjoy being outside and den building is my favourite activity! Each time they have to be bigger and better! I love the imaginative situations that arise from being in the woods and creating fun spaces for the children to explore.

Becci
I began working at Dinton Preschool in 2023, running a weekly Stay and Play session. It was during this time that I discovered my passion for working with children and supporting their early development. I’m now working towards a Level 3 Apprenticeship as an Early Years.
Both of my children attended Dinton Preschool and thoroughly enjoyed their time here, which makes being part of the team even more special. I enjoy messy play, spending time outdoors, and encouraging children to explore and express their imaginations freely.

I joined the Dinton team just before Summer 2025 and instantly felt welcomed. I could see the children were happy, independent and well cared for - I knew this was the team for me! I have completed my Level 2 qualification in Children and Young People's Workforce and I am very close to finishing my Level 3 Early Years Educator course. I have a passion for supporting children in the communication and language development. I have three children of my own who are active and enjoy swimming and football.
